Correct Operation Steps:
· Preparation: Connect the machine to the proper power supply. Run it idle to ensure smooth operation.
· Install Rollers: Select and install the appropriate drive roller and grooving roller according to the pipe size.
· Set the Support Stand: Place one end of the pipe on the drive roller and the other end on the support stand, typically positioned at three-quarters of the pipe’s total length. Adjust the stand so the pipe is level or slightly tilted (1–2°). Start the machine and check for pipe drifting. If drifting occurs, reposition the stand until the pipe runs steadily.
· Grooving Operation: Tighten the hydraulic relief valve and use the pump handle to lower the grooving roller. Once the roller touches the pipe, start the machine and continue feeding slowly. Before contact, the handle may be turned quickly to save time, but once in contact, the feed should be gradual. It is recommended to let the pipe rotate one full turn before each feed to maintain uniform depth.
· Measure Groove Depth: After grooving, release the valve, remove the pipe, and measure the groove depth with a gauge to confirm it meets the standard.
