A new batch of Gruvmaster HC-2X pipe hole cutting machines has completed assembly and practical factory testing. Designed for branch connection work in fire protection, HVAC and industrial piping systems, the HC-2X combines secure chain clamping, low-speed high-torque cutting, guided mechanical feed and flexible operation from either side. The result is a more stable and controlled way to prepare steel pipes for mechanical tees and other branch fittings.

A domestic steel pipe manufacturer tested grooving performance on 20Mn high-strength steel pipes (16", 10 mm wall) at our workshop. While a standard machine (AG-8Z) could complete the job in about 8 minutes, the heavy-duty AG-4X reduced processing time to around 2 minutes with smoother and more stable results. The test clearly showed the importance of matching equipment to working conditions.
